Back in April, when Musk mad his initial bid to buy Twitter, I’d decided I didn’t want anything to do with it.
At the time I didn’t tweet much, anyway; my main use was keeping track of bloggers I found interesting. I did some work, tracked most of them back to a reliable RSS feed and deleted my Twitter account.
At the same time. I did a half-hearted search for alternative. This was when I created my Mastodon account. But I knew just one person on there, and it didn’t grab me.
Of course, now Mastodon is the place to be, And many of those that I followed have now appeared there. Which makes it more interesting to me.
Also neglected is this, my WordPress account. I post too much to Facebook, it seems. So I’ve decided to make a concerted effort to post more here, and I’m linking it to my Mastodon account, so people can find me more readily.
