The Vinyl Decision

I have a shelf of vinyl that hasn’t been played in about 10 years. Nothing valuable, just stuff from the late 70s and the 80s. Some has been repurchased in CD form; the rest – well, if I haven’t dug it out in 10 years, I can’t be itching to hear it.

(I actually have a Vestax portable player, but it is gathering dust in the junk room.)

Anyway, on the way to the optician, I saw that Market Deeping has a little vinyl record shop, in a room above the tobacconists. I chatted to the guy, and he said bring my stuff round, and he would give me a price.

I actually don’t care about the money. I simply don’t want them any more, but I couldn’t bring myself to throw them out!

So someone will be happy, and I’ll hopefully get a drink out of it. Plus a free shelf in my lounge.
